This could be worse.

It's bound to be better than the last bar I was at, anyway - speaking of, stay away from the Gliese system, kids. They aren't very friendly there. I've had better service in the Silver Devastation; and the hypervodka was watered down. Huge disappointment.

So I guess this is a fresh fresh start. Captain Jack Harkness, at your service. I'll be a warden here for a while. Now, who wants to start the introductions? I've got all the time in the world.

I hope you manage to stay longer than you have before. There are friends of yours here, and many of them have had to face being ignored and abandoned far too much by you and the Doctor.

From what I've seen you can be a charming man. There's more to friendship than that though. I don't know you well enough to guess if there may be any sincerity under your surface. For their sakes, I hope there is.
