This could be worse.

It's bound to be better than the last bar I was at, anyway - speaking of, stay away from the Gliese system, kids. They aren't very friendly there. I've had better service in the Silver Devastation; and the hypervodka was watered down. Huge disappointment.

So I guess this is a fresh fresh start. Captain Jack Harkness, at your service. I'll be a warden here for a while. Now, who wants to start the introductions? I've got all the time in the world.

"Indeed." [Kirk can kind of tell that there's something off about Jack, a heaviness or something but god knows, he isn't the kind of person to talk about things that bother him, so he's going to respect it if Jack doesn't want to volunteer the information.
