This could be worse.

It's bound to be better than the last bar I was at, anyway - speaking of, stay away from the Gliese system, kids. They aren't very friendly there. I've had better service in the Silver Devastation; and the hypervodka was watered down. Huge disappointment.

So I guess this is a fresh fresh start. Captain Jack Harkness, at your service. I'll be a warden here for a while. Now, who wants to start the introductions? I've got all the time in the world.

Come on Jack... hasn't every decade been good to you in some way or another. [There was a grin.] And I wish we'd ended up in America rather than London for 1969. Of course, it was fun in some ways. [But definitely not fun in others.]

[Martha knew the sad smile, but she didn't comment on it, instead taking a larger gulp of her drink. She did wince that time.] Yeah, if there wasn't that little fun, it wouldn't be worth it at all.
