Strip twister. The twentieth. No danger of flying balls. Well - not the rubber kind. Anyone interested, stop by my room. Level three, room fifteen. I think everyone could use the lift after that mess in the dining hall.

Speaking of, any new information on that? I saw someone was looking into the radiation.

Saxon, you've been quiet. That keeps up, you'll give me an ulcer. I don't like ulcers. Tell me you're not wearing those awful clothes anymore.

Did anyone get hit by this that I really ought to know about?

Distraction, which is why it would nice to be free of here. Some have left, perhaps. I am mostly only tired now and bored.

Then maybe you'll be out soon. I can stop by and keep you company, if you want.

[He hadn't wanted to deal with this personally. Ianto hadn't died by rotting, but there was a situational similarity in what he'd heard, and it made the usual knot in his stomach tighten. But he should deal with it. Jack made his way down to the infirmary, and after a moment, found Armand.]

How you doing?

[Armand sits up, not looking quite so drained as he had earlier.] Better. I'm just taking this hard, apparently. I hope to be free of here soon.

[He drags over a chair, sitting near the head of the bed.]

I guess dying gets easier when you keep doing it. Sort of. You'll be out of here soon enough. [Glancing around, he smiled wryly.] Must be pretty boring.

[Armand gives a weak laugh.] I don't want to practice, but if being sick in bed gets visits from lively friends, I don't mind so much.

Wouldn't recommend practicing, either. [He grins.] Good. Could be worse, I could be terribly dull.

Monsieur Harkness, you're far from dull. [laughs, then coughs a little, looking irritated at himself]

[He reaches out to put a hand on Armand's arm with that cough, frowning lightly.] You're right. And if I was, it would be a travesty.

[A small smile at the concern.] You have such a terrible reputation, but you are a kind man. I'm grateful. Who do you expect at your... twister party?

[He smiled a little, starting to shake his head - but he stopped. He wasn't that kind.] Martha, a Doctor or two, Denise, maybe 11-12, probably Captain Kirk. It should be fun.

Then I hope I'll have a chance to see it. Any way I could bribe someone to trounce Kirk? [a weak laugh, but he is smiling.]

[Which is good! It makes Jack's smile widen, and he squeezes Armand's arm lightly.] I don't think you'd have to do much bribing. Something tells me he won't be too opposed to losing this game.

You're sure the people playing won't mind losing their clothes? I know I would die of embarrassment in such a situation. [his smile grows a little]

[OOC: Sometimes I just hate my life.]

[Jack just shrugs.] Can't speak for anyone else, but I have fun that way.
